Child Advocates is looking for individuals who are interested in becoming a volunteer educational advocate for children in foster care.
Educational advocates will provide individualized assistance and inter-system coordination to students and families in order to develop positive communication and improved educational opportunities/outcomes for all students. This advocacy will model positive and effective practices for students, families, staff and peers to build capacity in all stakeholders to be able to maintain and improve educational outcomes for all students and positive partnering for all families.
*Background in Education is preferred.
