From Our Executive Director

Cindy Booth, Executive DirectorSince 1982, Child Advocates has represented the best interests of more than 100,000 Indianapolis children – children who were removed from their homes because of abuse and/or neglect.

Thank you for visiting our website. We are grateful to have the opportunity to share our mission with you. We look forward to working with you in the future to keep the children of Indianapolis safe from abuse and neglect.

In 2017 we accomplished the following:

  • 9,327 children were provided independent representation in the courtroom
  • 738 volunteers helped represent and protect children who are victims of abuse
  • 248 new volunteers were trained
  • 19,127 hours of service were donated by CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) volunteers

Our supporters enable us to provide independent, child-focused representation to every child in Indianapolis, who suffered abuse and/or neglect by their parents or guardians.

If you’re interested in volunteering just click on the volunteer tab and fill out the application.

If you’d like to learn more about Child Advocates you are welcome to attend one or more of our fun events so you can meet staff and some of the children we represent.

With Sincere Appreciation,
